Accessibility statement

The Institute for Migration Research strives to make the KlimEd project website accessible in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies (“Official Gazette”, No. 17/19; hereinafter: the Act), which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
This accessibility statement applies to the KlimEd project website.
1. Compliance status
The KlimEd project website is partially compliant with the Act due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
The assessment of compliance with accessibility requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out by the website developer and editor. No formal external accessibility audit has been conducted.
2. Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
2.1. Non-compliance with the Act
The following content will be gradually brought into compliance:
- certain downloadable documents (PDF, Word or other files) added during the project may not be fully prepared in an accessible format, for example for screen readers,
- certain older or subsequently added materials may not yet be available in a fully accessible format.
2.2. Content outside the scope of the Act
The following content is not covered by accessibility requirements because it is not created, funded or controlled by the Institute or the project team:
- videos and other content embedded through external platforms, such as YouTube, including cases where captions, transcripts or alternative text descriptions are not available,
- third-party tools, content and links available through the website.
The Institute for Migration Research and the KlimEd project team will, in accordance with available resources and technical possibilities, work to gradually improve content accessibility and address identified shortcomings.
3. Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 15 June 2026 using the model accessibility statement compliant with Directive (EU) 2016/2102, as established by Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of 11 October 2018.
This statement was prepared using a self-assessment carried out by the website developer and editor.
The statement was last reviewed on 15 June 2026.
The statement will be reviewed and updated in the event of significant changes to the website, the addition of new functionalities or the removal of reasons why certain content was non-accessible.

The Information Commissioner of the Republic of Croatia is the body responsible for monitoring the compliance of websites and software solutions for mobile devices of public sector bodies with accessibility requirements and for supervising the implementation of the Act.
